Oman Air launches direct flights from Moscow to Muscat

Omar Air, the national airline of the Sultanate of Oman, opens a new flight between Muscat and Moscow (Domodedovo Airport). The daily flight will be operated on B737-8 MAX aircraft with business and economy classes of service.

Regular non-stop Oman Air flights between Oman and Russia will become the only direct passenger air service between the countries. Tickets are already available for booking and purchase on the airline’s website and at authorized travel agencies. The arrival of a new flight from Muscat to Moscow is scheduled for October 30, 2018. The first flight number WY182 from Moscow to Muscat will fly from the Moscow Domodedovo Airport on October 31 at 00:20 and at 6:55 am local time will arrive at the new passenger terminal of Muscat International Airport.

The new route will provide passengers with the opportunity to travel to Oman, which, according to the Lonely Planet guide, was included in the top ten best countries of the world to visit in 2017. Oman Air is currently implementing a large-scale program to expand its fleet and route network, which will enable the commissioning of 64 airliners by 2022 and expand the route map to 60 destinations.
