Pianist and photographer from France obsessed with the atmosphere of abandoned places with old pianos

Frenchman Romain Thierry gave his heart at once to two passions - photography and piano. These two art worlds found their equal places and response in the soul of a man. And travel became that wonderful part of Thierry’s life, in which these two seemingly so different hobbies merged harmoniously. Indeed, a man travels the world, looking for and photographing atmospheric and beautiful abandoned places with pianos and pianos.

Some time the instruments spared, leaving them safe and sound, somewhere you can see the piano only in recognizable parts, but all these places are united by a veil of secrecy and a special spirit, the influence of which cannot be resisted.

With his photo project "Requiem for Piano", the Frenchman has traveled to many countries, including Italy, Belgium, Ukraine, Germany, Poland and others.
