This amazing creature conquered the Internet! Try to guess what it is!

This creature is called Costasiella kuroshimae or sea sheep. An adorable little sea slug with bead eyes and cute mustaches that make it look like a cartoony sheep eating algae.

The most amazing and unique feature of this sea sheep, which grows up to 5 mm in length and lives near Japan, Indonesia and the Philippines, is the ability to photosynthesis. Absorbing algae, they suck out chloroplasts from them, which become part of their organisms in a process called kleptoplasty. This process, which only single-celled organisms are capable of, essentially makes them slugs on solar panels!

This charming tiny sea sheep loves to feast on seaweed.

She is one of the few creatures on Earth that can use algae for photosynthesis!

These cute creatures have been found throughout the waters from Japan to Indonesia.
