Australian artist “paints” 19th century statues to “revive” them

Australian photographer and digital artist Jane Long was carried away by a very unusual occupation - she paints statues. But not like you could imagine right away! No, the girl does not engage in vandalism and does not approach the architectural heritage at night with a roller and cans of colors. She takes photographs of statues at the Ballarat Botanical Garden in Victoria, and then “animates” them, turning them into “just beautiful women” with the help of photo editors.

Long admits that she likes the idea of turning lifeless gray statues into vibrant cinematic characters.

Take a look at the girl’s result - you simply don’t recognize the statues!
