Rail carrier in England hires 15-year-old employee on Twitter

It turns out that even in such a developed and rich country as Great Britain, not everything goes smoothly with public transport and services. So, for example, the railway company Southern Rail recently can not boast of high ratings and good reviews of passengers. Troubles in the industrial sector, the reduction of services and the delay of trains did their job: the carrier became one of the most hated in the country and was unable to stop the storm of angry responses about its activities not only from customers but also to the media. The deplorable situation began to change only with the adoption of one unusual, but, as it turned out in the future, very correct decision.

Help came in the person of 15-year-old Eddie. The young Briton was made responsible for the company’s Twitter account. His quick, witty, funny and at the same time polite answers won over customers. He even created the hashtag #askeddie, which quickly became popular. The affairs of Southern Rail are gradually getting better, one can only hope that the carrier will offer a permanent job to his young and charming savior.
