10 impressive Sony World Photography Awards winners

This year, the jury of the famous prestigious international photo contest Sony World Photography Awards faced a difficult task: they had to choose several winners from 230 thousand photos sent by participants from 186 countries of the world.

The jury coped with their work and presented to the world the 10 best, in their opinion, works of this year. The main prize was received by journalist Asgar Khamesh, who demonstrated at the competition his project called “Fire of Hate,” which includes portraits of Iranians who became victims of acid spills - a common type of crime in this country. Khamesh received the title of photographer of the year and 25 thousand dollars.
