How do the South Koreans relax, who work the most in the world and do not go anywhere

South Korea today is one of the most prosperous, economically stable and developed countries in the world. But some 60 years ago, local residents could only dream of such success and living standards. Of course, the rise of this state has many components, it is difficult to single out a short formula that helped Korea come to the so-called economic miracle. But one of the main factors, undoubtedly, was the unreal, superhuman disability of the Koreans.

The industriousness of the people of South Korea is so amazing that it is overgrown with legends, and work schedules amaze the imagination and, alas, spoil the health of many local residents. They work so hard and intensively that now it is becoming a state-wide problem over which the government is puzzling. The situation with chronic processing has also led to the fact that most South Koreans, on vacation, do not even travel outside the city in which they live.

Sangyu Kim - a photographer who became interested in this "travel abroad" phenomenon of compatriots, made a small but very memorable and eloquent photo project called "Best Days". In it, he shows how the inhabitants of South Korea, who do not leave its borders and seem to be constantly ready to begin their work duties, rest.
