Fantastic cypress trees on Lake Caddo, creating the illusion of the other world

Cypress trees are beautiful and amazing trees. Some believe that the mysterious gopher tree from which Noah's Ark was created, this is cypress. However, the most unique among them are bald cypresses. The largest cluster of cypresses is located on the American Lake Caddo (Texas). The age of some of them reaches 700 years.

Tourists love to come to this place, because the fame of its beauty extends far beyond the borders of the country. On the lake there is a small town with the strange name Uncertain (from the English "indefinite", "dubious"). Its inhabitants, in fact, live off travelers, so you can always find housing and a place where to eat. Fans of especially colorful photographs should come here in the autumn, when the trees become more yellow and orange. And if you are lucky to catch the fog, then you will find yourself in an illusory other world, where the sensation of something mystical lies in wait at every turn.

A very unusual feature of some cypresses is the presence of so-called "knees" (processes). So far, scientists have not come to a consensus on why they are needed, but entertainment, you see, is added.
