In the Swiss Alps appeared a mirror house-chameleon

Doug Aitken is an artist who was able to reflect the beauty of the Alps in his recent project Mirage Gstaad. This installation is in the form of a house, similar to a ranch and covered with mirrors. This structure now towers on snow-capped peaks in Gstaad, Switzerland.

The surface of the building disguises it among the mountains and evergreen trees. And from afar, Mirage Gstaad completely merges with the environment and disappears. But, as in an ordinary building, you can go inside, where you will also see walls and ceilings from mirrors. An unusual interior with the effect of a kaleidoscope refracts the rays of the sun and gives an amazing impression.
