Three years old girl turned an old bus into a delightful motor home

Instead of looking for the house of her dreams, Jesse Lipskin decided to create it. To begin with, the girl purchased an old 1966 GMC bus on eBay. And then she spent several years turning the dilapidated transport into a stunning motorhome. Now his mistress says that such an unconventional decision was inspired by her desire for an environmentally friendly lifestyle.

"My first encounter with an alternative lifestyle was the 'Garbage Warrior' documentary."- says Lipskin. In the film, Michael Reynolds, an eco-architect, designs and builds his buildings using only recycled materials. “It really influenced me. I started to study everything that came across to me about an alternative lifestyle. As a result, the motor home seemed to me the perfect solution. I could easily travel to new places, since I found a place for permanent residence in the short term for me was not a priority, and I could continue to lead a vegan lifestyle. "

"The modern house buses lacked the aesthetics I wanted, so I opted for a vintage bus that could be registered and insured as a motor home."

Jesse says that the most difficult thing was to find the right people who could help her complete the transformation. “I like to do something with my own hands, but I don’t have the experience in plumbing, electrical and carpentry needed for the project. The big problem was that all this is very different from working on the house, which is fixed in one place. I constantly had to take into account the movement, the angle of inclination of the bus. The inclination of the tires changed depending on the location. It took a lot of time. "

Despite all the difficulties, Jesse Lipskin did not give up. After 3 years, given incredible efforts and using a little more than 70 thousand dollars, she got her dream home.
