Portuguese artist places heroes of classic paintings in modern cities

Gabriel Araujo is an artist from Portugal and the author of The Canvas Project, which he created to refresh classical painting and to see how the characters of paintings of the 15-16 centuries fit into today's world around us. As part of the project, the Portuguese creates original collages, transferring the heroes of legendary paintings to streets, highways, airports and buildings of modern cities.
